Viequez Espresso Rum Recipe
This is a recipe I was taught by a Couchsurfing "host" in Viequez, Puerto Rico. I put host in quotes because he was sleeping on the beach in a tent in preparation for the annual parade/party and he invited us to beach camp next to him.
He owned a restaurant/bar nearby and gave us some delicious espresso rum that was simple to make:
- Take a handle of BΓ‘cardi ron blanco, partially emptied
- Fill it with roasted coffee beans (about 30% up)
- Add liquor de anis to taste
